Meatfare


So today is our last day to eat meat before Lent begins next week. This observation paired with my recent viewing of Food, Inc. led to a fabulous meal this evening following a family trip to the farmer's market yesterday morning:

Bunless Grilled Cheeseburgers (Baucom's Best ground beef) topped with fresh red leaf lettuce, market broccoli crowns, and oven roasted french fries from farm potatoes.

I should have snapped a picture of the lovely meal, but by the time it was made we were busily scarfing it up.
